Smt. Laxmibai Gangane Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, AKOT, Dist.: Akola is one of the best & famous well organised educational society in Akola district. The founder president of the society was Late Ramkrushna Motiramji Alias Bhausaheb Gangane.
This was the dream of Bhausaheb Gangane to educate & empower the each and every child of the society, particularly belonging to the slum & socially backword area. He started educational work specially for poower and socially backward class of the society. He always thought that the service to the economically and socially backward people is the service to God.
Today, L.G.S.P.M., Akot is the biggest and well organised education society in Akola district, running pre-primary, convent, Primary, High Schools, Junior college, B.Ed, M.Ed & other courses in the services of the community at large.
